Dr Ruth Lambert

Primary qualifications: MBChB MRCGP DFFP
Special interests: Rheumatology, palliative medicine and paediatrics

Graduated from Leeds University Medical school in 1996. She spent some time working in Yorkshire and then Perth Australia working in a variety of general medical, A+E and paediatric posts.

She completed her GP training in Macclesfield where she focused on rheumatology and was involved in medical support of athletes and spectators at the Commonwealth games. She also worked part time at the local hospice and completed her palliative care certificate.

She joined the practice in 2004 and maintains an interest in rheumatology, palliative medicine and paediatrics. In 2017 she embarked on GP training to join Dr Tim Walter in training the next generation of GPs
